Mopar® President and CEO Pietro Gorlier, left, and DSR and Mopar Express Lane Dodge Charger R/t Funny Car Driver Matt Hagan, center, and NHRA Announcer Bob Frey, unveiled a new 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T drag racing vehicle at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.

On the Las Vegas Strip, there is no shortage of bright lights and big dreams. It’s also no surprise that the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show was back in “Sin City” and Mopar® was left holding the winning hand.

With a fleet of Mopar-modified vehicles and hundreds of existing and prototype products, Mopar sizzled at the world’s premier automotive specialty products trade event at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

A playground for performance enthusiasts, SEMA provides an up close look at the latest vehicle concepts. Not one to disappoint its fans, Mopar has expanded its parts and accessories, and their display is a hot-spot stop for industry leaders to observe how enthusiasts can sprinkle their own rides with a little Mopar magic.

Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance: On the exterior, a prototype Jeep Performance Parts “Stinger” front bumper can handle whatever the terrain dishes out, especially when paired with a front bumper skid plate, Jeep Performance Parts Rubicon rock rails and a prototype flattop fender kit.

At this year’s event, the Jeep® Wrangler, Mopar’s most-accessorized vehicle, was named the “Hottest 4×4-SUV” for a fifth consecutive year. In addition to winning, Mopar and Dodge brands unveiled a new 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car.

The new race car is destined to make its official on-track National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Mello Yello Drag Racing Series debut in funny car competition at the 2015 season-opening Winternationals event Feb. 5-9 at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, Calif.

The new 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T funny car was designed and developed on a virtual platform, using the same production-based technology and tools applied to the street vehicles, in a collaboration between FCA production and race engineers and the Don Schumacher Racing team.

Taking a cue from a David Copperfield act, the magicians at Mopar went into their own bag of tricks and transformed Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram and Fiat brands show vehicles for the occasion.

Let’s roll the dice to find out if your favorite vehicle was lucky enough to be Moparized.
