Oscar-worthy FCA US Performances

The 88th Academy Awards light up the silver screen on Sunday and as always, the actors, actresses, directors and other talented people will take the stage, accepting hardware for their hard work. But they aren’t the only stars of the show.
From the Candy Red 2015 Dodge Charger, driven by Dominic “Dom” Toretto (Vin Diesel) in last year’s high octane blockbuster, “Furious 7″ to the 1966 Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider Duetto driven by Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) in “The Graduate,” FCA US LLC vehicles have made some pretty impressive cameos in films over the years. And, the company isn’t putting on the brakes anytime soon.
Look for special appearances from Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, FIAT, Alfa Romeo and Maserati in the upcoming and highly anticipated debut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (opening nationwide in theaters on March 25, 2016).
FCA US and Warner Bros. Pictures are joining forces for the one-of-kind co-branded partnership for the film. Besides the guest appearances in the film, the unique alliance includes the introduction of the all-new 2016 Jeep® Renegade Dawn of Justice Special Edition—(available now in dealerships across the country), in addition to branded television spots with the Jeep and Dodge brands, and social/digital extensions creating consumer engagement leading up to the film’s premiere next month.

Jeep brand introduces all-new 2016 Jeep Renegade 'Dawn of Justice' Special Edition available now in dealerships across the country.
Available in Granite Crystal or new, exclusive Carbon Black exterior paint colors, the Jeep Renegade 'Dawn of Justice' Special Edition features new 18-inch Gloss Black wheels with Gloss Black accents.
Metal Diamond accents are found throughout on key touch points such as the shifter knob and door handles.
Inside, the Jeep Renegade’s blacked-out theme continues with a black interior, black premium cloth seats and High Gloss Black finishes.
A unique exterior badge hints at the inspiration for this special-edition Jeep SUV.

Look for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at next year’s Academy awards, but in the meantime, some of the biggest appearances by an FCA US vehicle this year include:
Furious 7 – The film is packed with FCA US vehicles including a Candy Red 2015 Dodge Charger, driven by Dominic Toretto
(Vin Diesel) in various chase scenes throughout “Furious 7″; a Sublime Green and Black 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T driven by Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodrigues); and an armored 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited driven by Tej Parker (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges). In all, FCA US provided nearly 30 vehicles for the movie production.
In Theaters Now
Zoolander No. 2 – A partnership between the FIAT brand and Paramount Pictures is putting renowned international supermodel Derek Zoolander in the driver seat of the all-new 2016 Fiat 500X cross-over in the film and in a hilarious new ad campaign. It’s the second partnership between FCA US and Paramount Pictures. You may remember when Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) hit the airwaves in “The Anchorman 2” to help promote the 2014 Dodge Durango.
FCA US launched the new marketing campaign for Zoolander No.2 that can be seen on television, digital and social media.
Derek Zoolander even struck a pose at the fan screening of Zoolander No. 2 in Rome. Joining him on the red carpet was a Tri-Coat Yellow Fiat 500X.

Out of This World Collaboration from a Galaxy Far, Far Away
FCA US also joined forces in December with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, putting a fleet of specially-wrapped Dodge vehicles on the streets of Los Angeles to co-promote the film.
The vehicles included a pair of First Order Stormtrooper-themed white 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vehicles along with an intimidating Kylo Ren-inspired wrapped black Dodge Viper ACR.
Hungry for More
FCA US also partnered with Lionsgate for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. The co-branded marketing campaign featured Chrysler, Dodge and Ram brands in a multimedia campaign that spanned across television, radio, digital and social.
So as long as heroes are saving the earth or bad guys are running from the law, there’s always going to be the need for the perfect getaway car and the FCA US lineup is always ready to play the supporting role.
